When it comes to the groceries we love, it should never be too much to ask for a quality product void of all contaminants and unwanted bacteria. We put a lot of trust in the brands that create our favorite foods, and in turn, these companies owe the consumer a certain level of assurance. In the unfortunate event that a product recall is necessary, it's a very comforting fact to know that the brands we love are holding up their end of the deal.
This year, we have seen quite a few recalls pop up on our feeds. Some of the more notable ones have included the Coca-Cola brand's Minute Maid Zero debacle and the shockingly large nationwide meat recall. And while we can only hope that each separate issue gets promptly nipped in the bud, that doesn't make us safe from recalls that follow suit.

As we approach the holiday season, yet another recall has just been announced -- this one coming from International Delight, known for their cold foam creamers, iced coffee and other mix-ins. The recall was announced on October 12 and includes the Home Alone International Delight Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar coffee creamer, sold as a 32-ounce plastic bottle that has and packed into a case of six.
International Delight has specified the reason for the recall being a mis-labeling issue, stating that the bottles printed with zero sugar on the label, in fact, do contain sugar. Nearly 1,800 cases have been identified as featuring the mis-labeled bottles, each with a best by date of 2/25/25. The mislabeled bottles of creamer are said to have been distributed in Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee and Texas. Further distributed bottles have potentially ended up in Arkansa, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin.
