Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan are eying starring roles in a new Paramount+ series from Guy Ritchie.

The trio of stars are close to finalizing negotiations to appear in the new project The Associate, according to reporting by Deadline.

While The Associate was initially viewed as a spinoff of the Showtime series Ray Donovan, it has developed into something of its own.

Here's a synopsis, via Deadline: "With the most powerful clients in Europe, Guy Ritchie's The Associate will see family fortunes and reputations at risk, odd alliances unfold, and betrayal around every corner; and while the family might be London's most elite fixers today, the nature of their business means there is no guarantee what's in store tomorrow."

Tom is in talks to play Harry, a professional fixer. Helen and Pierce would play "the crime family's matriarch and patriarch."
