With AMC's Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches returning for Season 2 on January 5th, "The Talamasca Files" offers some intel on Jack Huston's Lasher.

We've got the writers' room reopening for the third season of Rolin Jones's (Perry Mason, Weeds) Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid, Delainey Hayles, Assad Zaman & Eric Bogosian-starring Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. While that's going on, production on Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, and Elizabeth McGovern-starring Anne Rice's The Talamasca is already underway. And then, on January 5, 2025, the second season of Alexandra Daddario, Tongayi Chirisa, Jack Huston, and Harry Hamlin-starring Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches debuts. Whew! Much like with "The Walking Dead" Universe, things are quite a bit busy around AMC's "Anne Rice's Immortal Universe." To help tie everything together - and to get viewers up to speed ahead of the return of Mayfair Witches - we're getting what appears to be the first in a series of profile teasers under the banner of "The Talamasca Files." We're already loving this because it does a nice job of getting new viewers the intel they need while also cementing The Talamasca as the all-knowing entity that it's meant to be.

Based on Rice's Lives of the Mayfair Witches, the series return continues the journey of Rowan Mayfair (Daddario), who has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher (Huston). She is determined to understand what he has become - human or monster - and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer. But when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family. Now, here's a look at Daddario offering us the first entry from "The Talamasca Files":

Birch stars as Gifford Mayfair, a self-deprecating tarot reader and wannabe bohemian who lately spends a lot of time at her lake house.
