New York Jets vs Pittsburgh Steelers Same-Game Parlay for Sunday Night Football Week 7

By the time this thing kicks off, we will have already cashed our Milly Parlays. But what separates good gamblers from great ones is, great ones don't stop when they hit big. When a great gambler hits a Milly Parlay, he (or she) doesn't just skip the next game. Not even close. In fact they actually hit the very next game even harder because they're on a heater. Never stop betting when you're on a heater. That's a top-five gambling rule.

Lucky for us, the Sunday night game tonight is the New York Jets vs Pittsburgh Steelers. I've done a million mental simulations on this thing already so clearly we already know what is going to happen. Full disclosure, a lot of those simulations came before the Jets acquired Davante Adams so I had to run everything a second time. It sucks when that happens but it's important we get this thing correct. Feels right.

With Adams debuting for the Jets, all three legs of tonight's Jets vs Steelers parlay are focused on the New York passing game.

I've said to myself "Aaron Rodgers is washed" probably 100 times this season. In my defense, he has looked washed a few different times this year. We've all seen it. But over his last couple games, he seems to be inching closer to the Aaron Rodgers we all know and love.

And now that Davante Adams is back in the fold, the clock seems to be turning back even more.

Honestly, Aaron Rodgers didn't need Davante Adams to round back into shape. The guy was doing it all by himself. But obviously, when an all-time great receiver gets added to a roster, the passing game is upgraded. It just is.

But here's the good part. The part where we all get paid. This bet isn't about Aaron Rodgers or Davante Adams. It's about the Pittsburgh Steelers and them being an undercover pass funnel. They're literally second in the NFL in opponent yards per rush attempt.

The Jets aren't going to be able to run on these guys. Nobody can. But what they can do is throw the ball. We just saw Dak Prescott go 350+ on these dudes a couple of weeks ago. Last week it was household name Aiden O'Connell going for 226. It's not hard to see that Rodgers is throwing for at least 200 yards tonight. Feels right.

The first guy I thought about when the Davante Adams trade was announced was Garrett Wilson. The kid is a stud, we all know that but with Davante Adams on the roster, he sort of takes a back seat. It's not fair, but it is what it is. The nature of the beast is what they call it on the streets.

But just as I was thinking about Garrett, I saw this tweet and it made me feel better. Somehow.

Obviously, Davante is catching at least four balls tonight. We don't have to talk about that. But throwing Wilson in this thing is what makes us pure geniuses. The books will never see it coming. They're going to think that just because Davante is in town, Garrett takes a seat. That's just not realistic. Wilson has caught at least four balls in every game he's played this season. No chance he catches fewer than four tonight. Feels right.
