Until I Kill You viewers have been tipping the ITV1 drama for awards as they shared they had been binging the new Anna Maxwell Martin and Shaun Evans series.
The four-part true drama is based on Delia Balmer's book about living with serial killer John Sweeney and the coercively controlling relationship she became entangled in, with viewers praising both actors for their "brilliant" performances.
Episodes of the chilling tale began on Sunday and will continue each night until Wednesday, but many were unable to resist binging the lot on streaming service ITVX.
Until I Kill You's depiction of Delia Balmer's coercively controlling relationship with serial killer John Sweeney might be an uncomfortable watch for many reasons, but viewers were so gripped by the true story that they were unable to resist binge watching all four parts on ITVX after its debut on ITV1 on Sunday.
Shaun Evans plays the sinister Sweeney and Anna Maxwell Martin is Balmer, who ultimately survived the relationship and published a book about her experiences which the drama is based on.
One viewer commented on X: "I binged all four episodes of #UntilIKillYou last night - it was chilling & a true story... absolutely magnificent acting from Anna Maxwell Martin. I felt her rage towards the police & the judicial system that failed her so badly. Definitely not to be missed."

She said: "There's only pressure in that you don't want to be disrespectful and get it wrong, so you have to be quite diligent in your work, you can't be lazy and say I'll phone it in on the day, otherwise you wouldn't be doing your job."
But she added: "I can definitely finish the work and go home and have a gin and tonic because it's not my life, it's not my story and I think to wear it heavier than that would be to say you are walking in someone's shoes and you're not. Delia suffered terribly, she has gone on to thrive in her life and that's to be admired. It affected Delia, it didn't happen to me."
