CUSTOMERS can get a unique new sandwich from Jimmy John's before Halloween.
The menu option swaps out its typical bread options for pieces of a dill pickle in an innovative move sure to appeal to pickle lovers.
Jimmy John's dubbed the creation "Picklewich" in a press release on Thursday.
Those who order it can get large Jimmy Pickles slices instead of the French bread, sliced 9-grain wheat bread, or Unwich Lettuce Wrap that typically encases their favorite orders.
There are two Picklewich variations -- The Vito Picklewich and The Turkey Picklewich.
The Vito comes with salami topped with capocollo and provolone cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, oregano-basil, oil, and vinegar.
The Turkey is simple, with only turkey, lettuce, tomato, and provolone.
For extra pickle taste, Jimmy John's customers can also get the beloved Pickle Jimmy Chips and pair it with the sandwich in a meal deal.
The Picklewich options will likely be priced around the same as Jimmy John's 8-inch subs for $8, although an official cost has yet to be confirmed.
The Pickle Jimmy Chips are $1.79.
Customers can start picking up their Picklewich variation on October 28 at their local Jimmy John's restaurant or through mobile ordering.
Those who are part of Jimmy John's reward program can also get the Picklewich at a massive 50% discount with the purchase of any other 8-inch sandwich on November 3, National Sandwich Day.
Even customers who don't get the Picklewich on National Sandwich Day can still get an 8-inch sub and make it a combo with chips (or a cookie) and a medium drink for free after 2:00 pm.
Jimmy John's also took great consideration in marketing the sandwich, partnering with self-proclaimed pickle witch and reality television star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, known for her time on MTV's Jersey Shore.
An advertisement featured Snooki as the feared pickle witch hiding out in the woods and scaring off hungry customers.
"I love pickles -- they're my thing," Snooki noted in a statement about the Picklewich.
"And a pickle sandwich? Dream come true."
"It's like Jimmy John's made the new Picklewich just for me!" she exclaimed.
"The Vito Picklewich is my favorite. But if you're a pickle lover, you need to try both!"
The Picklewich is only available for a limited time and vanishes on November 14, so customers should act fast if interested.
Jimmy John's also isn't the first chain to make a pickle sandwich.
Seven Brothers Gourmet, a local deli in Long Island, New York, started making a sandwich with pickles for bread pieces in January, per the New York Post.
The deli went viral on TikTok this summer over the creation.
It now sells hundreds of pickle sandwiches each day.
