Mahomes has had some elevated pass-attempt tallies recently, but Sunday night may present an opportunity for the Chiefs to run a more balanced attack. Isiah Pacheco now has one game under his belt and could see a boost in snaps, while Kareem Hunt remains a viable complement.

The Chargers, which saw only 29 pass attempts from Mahomes in Week 4, aren't likely to push Kansas City into an aggressive offensive approach for four quarters either, especially if Ladd McConkey (knee/shoulder) is out.

Chargers vs. Chiefs Justin Herbert props: Over 20.5 completions (-106 or better)

Irrespective of McConkey's availability, Herbert should be fairly busy on the passing front. Not only is J.K. Dobbins (IR-knee) unavailable, but the Chiefs are facing the fifth-highest pass rate of any team at home (61.8%) thanks to their elite run defense. Herbert only has as many as 21 completions in three games, but KC has allowed a 65.9 percent completion rate at home.

Travis Kelce player props: Over 59.5 receiving yards (+102 or better)

Kelce has historically thrived against the Chargers over his career. That includes earlier this season against the current defensive scheme, as he produced a 7-89 line on nine targets in Week 4.

Kelce has also eclipsed this total in seven of 12 games, with four of those instances coming in the last five games.

Chiefs vs. Chargers anytime TD picks: DeAndre Hopkins (+225 or better)

The Chargers do an excellent job limiting touchdowns to running backs and tight ends (five combined), but they've surrendered 12 to wide receivers.

Hopkins has already been targeted seven times in the red zone through six games as a Chief, scoring three TDs along the way. The Bolts have also surrendered eight red-zone pass TDs and Hopkins has become Kansas City's clear No. 1 receiver.
