Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is going live on all available platforms, and it's important that you're aware of the new player leveling system that's on the way.
Ahead of the launch, Activision briefed the audience about how leveling up will work in the new Call of Duty title. If you've played recent titles like Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, there are some changes to expect. Let's look at the new system and what kind of rewards you can expect to unlock along the way.
For starters, the highest player level in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be 55. You can start your leveling-up journey with the global launch, and the process is simple - just play the available game modes and gain XP. The experience points can be gained from both the Multiplayer modes and Zombies. You can also gain XP from Warzone once Season 01 goes live.
Aside from grinding the modes, you can also gain XP by completing different objectives (daily and seasonal), getting medals, and finishing challenges.
Leveling up to 55 will help you unlock plenty of in-game goodies. While Activision hasn't revealed the full lineup of freebies, here's some of the stuff you can expect to get along the way.
If you can reach level 55, you'll also unlock eight base operators and a selection of emotes. These operators and emotes will stay in your inventory even if you choose to enter the Prestige mode. Once you've reached level 55, you can enter the Prestige system.
The Prestige system is the ultimate content for true grinders who are okay with risking their entire inventory to take it to the next level. Make sure to check out our detailed guide on the Prestige system and how it will work. In Black Ops 6, there will be ten Prestige throughout the year. If you enter in all, you'll become a Prestige Master, which will allow you to take your player level all the way up to Level 1000.
