We will continue to see off and on light showers as we head into our Christmas evening and overnight. Luckily, not everyone will be seeing showers as a lot of the activity remains isolated to scattered. As we head overnight, the low pressure system and front will fizzle out so this will limit our chances for more showers on Thursday.

Friday and Saturday will be our best chances for rain. A low pressure system forming over the Colorado Rockies currently will shift into our area early on Friday. The frontal system will linger in our area Saturday before clearing out Sunday morning. This will bring some more chances of scattered showers and even some heavy isolated thunderstorms can be expected.

The temperatures over the next several days will be very mild. High temperatures will reach into the mid to upper 60s with low temperatures in the low to upper 50s. With all of the moisture and rain chances in our immediate forecast, the cooler air is staying well to our north.
