PHOENIX -- Blanco Cocina + Cantina will be extending its Sonoran-inspired Mexican cuisine to Peoria, with its first West Valley location set to open on Wednesday, as announced by Fox Restaurant Concepts.
The eating establishment will occupy space at The Park at 83, located at 8191 W. Paradise Lane and bordering the Peoria Sports Complex.
"A longstanding request we get from Arizona residents is to expand to the West Valley, and we are happy to announce that the time has come," Sam Fox, founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts, said in a press release. "Blanco's fun and energetic atmosphere is the perfect place for our guests to enjoy Mexican food favorites and relax with great margaritas."
Blanco's core identity is built on handmade corn tortillas, all-day meat braises and freshly squeezed margaritas.
Customers, new and old, can expect menu standouts of tiger shrimp fajitas, barbecue pork tacos, roasted poblano chile and tomato cheese crisps and short rib machaca chimichangas.
Queso Fundido, a caramelized Oaxaca cheese skillet with roasted chile salsa, is among the newest additions to the menu. The Green Chile Smash Burger was the other new entrée, and Spiced Apple Ranch Water and Daisy Fuente bolstered the cocktail and margarita listings, respectively.
The beverage offerings are highlighted by seasonal margaritas and infused tequilas, notables including Dodge's Cadillac with casa noble blanco and the Tamarindo Mule with spicy tamarind.
Guests can order out with in-store pick up or DoorDash through Fox Restaurants Catering.
