AMITE -- District Attorney Scott Perrilloux reported the following individuals appeared before Judge Jeff Johnson in open court on Sept. 18, 2024, and entered the following pleas:
Le'Toryona Profit, 21, of Hammond, pleaded no contest to carjacking and was sentenced to serve two years in the Department of Corrections without benefits. Credit was given for time served.
Clarence Osby, 20, of Tickfaw, pleaded no contest to possession with intent to distribute Schedule I. Defendant was sentenced to serve five years DOC. Sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on probation for five years, ordered to get a GED and be subject substance abuse evaluation and treatment.
Keith Ford, 44, of Independence, pleaded no contest to DWI - 3rd offense, and was sentenced to serve one year DOC without benefits. Credit was given for time served.
Maurice Callahan Jr., 68, of Ponchatoula, pleaded no contest to terrorizing and was sentenced to serve 10 years DOC with nine years suspended. Defendant was placed on probation for five years.
Roddy Johnson, 32, of Hammond, pleaded no contest to simple burglary and introducing contraband into a correctional facility. Defendant was sentenced to serve two years DOC on each count with time to be served concurrently. Credit was given for time served.
Harold Wright III, 41, of Kentwood, pleaded no contest to simple burglary of inhabited dwelling and was sentenced to serve one year DOC with credit given for time served.
Clyde Harrell, 38, of Hammond, pleaded no contest to attempted possession of a firearm by a felon and attempted distribution/possession with intent to distribute Schedule II. Defendant was sentenced to serve three years DOC without benefits on count one. Time is to be served concurrently and credit was given for time served.
