Boston Police report arresting a Queens man on charges he was using two luxury apartments at 55 Brighton Ave. in Allston as brothels.

Police say detectives posing as johns arranged some sex for hire with Xiaofeng Wang, 26, met him on Brighton Avenue around 8 pm. on Tuesday, then walked with him into the building, one of the Hamilton Co.'s newer buildings:

As Wang and the Detective entered the elevator, additional Officers intervened, detaining Wang while the investigation continued.

During a search of the premises, Officers identified two apartments within 55 Brighton Avenue that were being used for prostitution. Inside the first apartment, they discovered one female, while the second apartment contained two females. Both locations contained evidence consistent with commercial sex trafficking and Detectives seized approximately $7,021.00 dollars in U.S. Currency.

Police say the investigation unfolded quickly - detectives only began investigating Wang earlier that day after receiving a tip about "suspected commercial sex activity at the location." As part of their investigation, they learned that "advertisements for sexual services had been posted on an online platform, where 'dates' were arranged through a listed phone number," police say, adding the detectives called the number and "successfully negotiated an agreement for sexual services."

Wang was charged with trafficking of a person for sexual servitude and deriving support for prostitution. At his arraignment in Brighton Municipal Court today, Judge David Donnelly set bail at $50,000 and then ordered Wang to the Suffolk County jail when he couldn't come up with the money.

Should he make bail, Donnelly, ruled, he has to surrender his passport, be outfitted with a GPS device and stay away from the apartment building, Logan Airport, the South Station bus terminal, and any women with any connection to the apartment building.
