The Source |From NBA Stardom to Legal Woes: Glen 'Big Baby' Davis Sued Over Failed Biz Deal Involving Chris Brown

Glen "Big Baby" Davis, can't catch a break. The former NBA champion, now faces a lawsuit alleging he failed to repay a $30,000 investment in a cannabis venture while derailing a potential business partnership with R&B icon Chris Brown. Filed by pharmaceutical scientist Dr. Lyndsey White, the lawsuit accuses Davis of breach of contract and intentional misrepresentation.

Ya'll know Davi is behind bars serving time for fraud, right? Sheesh.

Get this, White claims she partnered with Davis in April 2021 to create a BBQ sauce, "Big Baby Q," before funding a marijuana business later that year. Davis introduced her to Chris Brown, who requested a custom fragrance, but their collaboration fell apart, allegedly due to Davis' erratic behavior following his arrest for defrauding the NBA's Players' Health and Benefit Welfare Plan.

What's more, White also alleges Davis aggressively sold the BBQ sauce without compensating her, creating further distrust. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for lost business opportunities and breach of trust.

As mentioned, Davis, who played eight seasons in the NBA and won a 2008 championship with the Boston Celtics, is currently serving a 40-month prison sentence for his role in a multi-million-dollar healthcare fraud scheme. The 38-year-old recently went viral when a shirtless photo of him in prison surfaced, sparking social media buzz.
