There's something so fun about tricking younger siblings into believing ridiculous things. I once had my younger sister convinced for many years that our parents had rescued her from a garbage dump and that they weren't her real parents. One TikTok user posted a video of a prank she and her other siblings played on the youngest: the Death Pumpkin.

TikTok user 4theluvofkimani._ posted what will probably become a core memory for her sister. The video occurs in a grocery store, with the TikToker's sister crying because she touched what she's calling the Death Pumpkin. Now, the Death Pumpkin isn't an actual thing, but she sure makes it seem like it is.

The video then jumps to a few minutes before when her sister touches said pumpkin. Both the woman recording and a few other siblings try to explain to the youngest that the pumpkins being sold are in two different bins for a reason. The ones resembling gourds are in one basket, which the eldest sister calls 'Diseased Pumpkins,' while the traditional orange ones sit beside them.

The eldest sister explains that if the youngest touches the diseased pumpkin, she'll die soon. She continues the ruse, even going as far as saying that they need to get home before she dies.

The prank is messed up, but everyone who has siblings knows exactly what's going on here. It doesn't seem aggressive towards the little girl, so I'd like to assume that it isn't something that her other siblings do often. There's even a point in the video where the eldest sibling tells the youngest that this happened because of how often she misbehaves.

Hopefully, the young girl realized after the video that nothing would actually happen to her for touching the pumpkin. However, it's definitely a memory that neither of them will soon forget.
