A battle in Class 6-A, Manual showed up at St. X fresh off its bye week and looking to get back in the win column after suffering its first loss of the season against Cal in Week 6 of the season.The Crimsons went up 14-3 in the second quarter with a big outing from junior Gerian Traynor. The running back finished with 174 yards and two touchdowns, the second one coming in the fourth quarter with less than 5 minutes to play. Traynor broke free for a 63-yard touchdown win and carried the Crimsons to the 29-22 win over St. X to start 1-0 in District three play. With the win, Manual improves to 6-1 on the season with a two-game win streak against St. X after last year's 37-36 victory.
