Police have identified the person who died in an Oct. 5 accident in Jackson County.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Peter Suckut, 79, Clear Lake, died when he became pinned between a tractor and recreational vehicle in the town of Springfield. First responders were able to free Suckut, but he died at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
