Muraba, a Dubai-based developer, has partnered with Pritzker Prize-winning RCR Arquitectes to create Muraba Veil - a striking 380-meter skyscraper planned for downtown Dubai. This modern architecture represents a decade-long collaboration between the two, blending contemporary innovation with traditional elements inspired by local heritage
The Muraba Veil stands out not only for its impressive height but also for its unusually narrow form. With a width of just 22.5 meters, the tower will feature 73 stories and house 131 luxury apartments, each spanning the full width of the building, offering residents panoramic views in both directions. The design incorporates a variety of high-end amenities, including a spa, art gallery, restaurant, padel court, private cinema, and communal spaces that evoke the surrounding desert landscape.
The tower's defining feature is its "veil" - a porous stainless steel mesh that wraps the structure, adapting to shifting light while enhancing energy efficiency. This innovative element combines modern architectural techniques with traditional regional concepts like the inner courtyard, promoting natural ventilation and privacy.
Set for completion in December 2028, Muraba Veil aims to redefine Dubai's skyline with its slender profile and environmentally conscious design.
