ST. LOUIS - A suspect is charged after police find multiple weapons and over 20 dogs during a search warrant investigating animal cruelty in north St. Louis.
The search warrant was conducted on the 8000 block of Riverview Boulevard in north St. Louis' North Pointe neighborhood.
During the search, St. Louis Metropolitan Police say they found multiple weapons and over 20 dogs at the location, all suffering from obvious signs of neglect and abuse.
Police say a suspect was arrested at the scene of the search for several charges, including felony animal abuse, improper disposal of a deceased animal, and unlawful use of a weapon.
