The Peanuts Halloween Special Airs Free This Weekend -- Here's How To Watch

While the beloved Peanuts holiday specials no longer air on broadcast television, AppleTV+ is once again celebrating the season by providing free streaming windows for non-subscribers to get cozy with the iconic films.

First up, the Halloween special, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, will stream for free this weekend: Saturday, October 19, 2024 and Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Viewers of all ages are invited to join the Peanuts gang for a timeless adventure as Charlie Brown preps for a party, Snoopy sets his sights on the Red Baron, and Linus patiently awaits a pumpkin patch miracle.

The other Peanuts holiday specials -- A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas -- will get their own free streaming windows in November and December, respectively. Apple TV+ subscribers can watch the Peanuts specials any time, all season long.

Fans of the classic films will fondly recall the 50 years they spent airing on broadcast television. First on CBS, then on ABC, until they were purchased by Apple TV+ in 2020. Fortunately, public outcry (and maybe a bit of holiday goodwill) led the streamer to provide the specials for free each year, per tradition.
