Officers called out at about 1:30 a.m. provided first aid while waiting for an ambulance to arrive. The man had several wounds and suffered "significant blood loss," police said.
The man had been walking in the park, near the Howard Watson Trail, when he was attacked by two unknown men, stabbed several times and robbed of personal items, police said.
His injuries included significant cuts on his thigh and left shoulder, as well as minor cuts on his arm, the top of his head and face, as well as defensive wounds on his hands, police said.
It's believed one of the suspects may have also been injured, police said.
