Superman recounts how he met Mon-El, their adventures together and Mon-El's sickness which put him in the Phantom Zone. After playing catch up Mon-El shows Superman that he is holding Xa-Du prisoner. He tells him that Xa-Du has been taking prisoners to a place called Aethyropolis. Superman and Mon-El set off for an adventure. Meanwhile at the Fortress of Solitude Kong Keenan and Conner find that the Fortress has been robbed. No sooner have they realized everything has been taken that Conner's S symbol starts to glow and in a flash they find themselves at a museum exhibit showing off all the relics from the Fortress. Back in the Phantom Zone Superman finds himself using up energy from the bracelets fighting off all creatures they cross on their journey to Aethyropolis. Along the way Mon-El recounts what has happened to the Phantom Zone over the past few years. He tells the story of Aethyr and how he came upon the Zone. Originally he wanted to help but the prisoners of the Zone showed their true selves so he punished them, making the Phantom Zone his own prison. Xa-Du became "warden" and let his men do unspeakable things. Mon-El and his men finally overtook The Dread Ship. Unfortunately he put Xa-DU's men down. A confession that shocks Superman. Suddenly Superman and Mon-El start to fade. Mon-El tells Superman that there are still pockets of immateriality. Just then they realize if they're intangible so is Xa-Du. Sure enough the prisoner has escaped. Xa-Du now faces Aethyr warning him about Superman. But Xa-Du has a plan. Attacking Earth. Aethyr now stands revealed. A hideous alien who already has his sights set on Earth.
Supergirl is now on a mission to find the judge. The robot from the satellite isn't much help. Supergirl finds the judge all wrapped up in webbing. The judge wants her to leave but Supergirl's not having it. She fights the spider people and wins. The judge just wants Supergirl to leave her be and gives her a device with the coordinates to find the prisoner. With that the judge "dies" and Supergirl prepares to finish her mission.
