A hot new bombshell has entered the jailhouse. Hannah Smith from Love Island USA Season 6 just spent the night behind bars after allegedly threatening to kill a cop. So, not only did she fail at finding love on reality TV, but now she has two felonies to her name after being arrested.
The Sun got the scoop on Hannah's arrest, including a copy of her glossy-eyed mugshot. The drama went down on September 30 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Coca-Cola Roxy. A little digging shows that Gracie Abrams played a show there that night. Perhaps all of those sappy breakup jams hit Hannah a little too close to home?
According to the police documents, the concert staff escorted Hannah away for being "disorderly." A cop tried to take her to an Uber, and that's when she allegedly tried to punch him, closed fist and all! Big mistake.
Unsurprisingly, putting the Love Island alum in handcuffs just made her more angry. The arrest records said she continued trying to kick the officer, and she supposedly started ranting to herself as if she were hosting a podcast. Once they finally got her into the cop car, that's when the threats started.
"Smith, while on the ground sitting, attempted to kick me multiple times but again did not make contact. While transporting Smith to Cobb ADC she stated 'I am going to kill you and your sister,'" the report said.
Thanks to her behavior at the Gracie Abrams concert, the police charged Hannah with making terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Both of those are felonies, but she wound up getting released on bail the next day. Luckily for the city of Atlanta, staying sober is one of the conditions of her release.
Love Island USA is streaming on Peacock.
