OLYMPIA, Wash. - The open enrollment period for Medicare opens Tuesday and lasts until Dec. 7. For those hoping to make changes to their plans, the open enrollment period allows them to make adjustments for the upcoming year.
The Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner offers online resources for those who need help with Medicare. Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors can also be contacted at 800-562-6900.
For those hoping to learn more about Medicare open enrollment, the insurance commissioner also has a podcast with information on the enrollment period.
Idaho residents can find Medicare help through YourHealthIdaho.org. Idaho's open enrollment window lasts from Tuesday to Dec. 15. Those already enrolled through YourHealth will be automatically renewed for 2025 coverage.
