The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 2:49 a.m. on Saturday valid from 8 p.m. until Sunday 11 a.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.

The weather service states, "Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
