Lamine Yamal, at 17 years of age, is making headlines for all the right reasons and is scripting history with his exploits as a teenager at the elite level.
Already a regular for Barcelona and the Spanish national team, the youngster has shown maturity beyond his years and serves as a leader on the field whenever he is in action.
The youngster's start to the new season with Barcelona has been sensational so far including four goals and five assists in just nine appearances for the club.
He is currently on duty with the Spanish national team during the international break and is expected to start vs Denmark later this week.
As revealed on the official website of Transfermarkt, Yamal has seen a new bump in his valuation with his recent run of form and is currently rated to be worth a staggering €150 million.
The new valuation, in fact, makes him the highest-valued Spanish player in history which is a massive testament to his talent and quality.
At the time of his debut, Yamal was rated at just €25 million which was still an exorbitant figure for the 16-year-old star.
As his influence on Barcelona's on-field dynamics increased, his valuation also grew to €60 million and eventually hit the €120 million mark a few months later in what many people thought to be the ceiling.
Now at €150 million, Yamal is amongst the highest-rated players in the world and rightfully so.
Only Erling Haaland, Vinicius Jr. (both €200 million), Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappe (both €180 million), have higher market values than Yamal.
The youngster will return to action for Barcelona against Sevilla after the international break and will then face the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in massive tests.
Given his quality, however, one would expect him to continue unperturbed against the European elite especially given his confidence under Hansi Flick.
