Meredith Westbrook was recently named Pickneyville Middle School's Teacher of the Year.

It was a pleasant surprise when Steven and Meredith Westbrook learned in early September they'd both been nominated for Teacher of the Year at their respective Gwinnett County schools.

The surprise grew exponentially when Steven (who teaches at Parkview High) and Meredith (who teaches at Pickneyville Middle) both received their schools' top teaching honor.
