Fans of the Vanderbilt University Commodores football team seized goalposts from FirstBank Stadium and marched them through Nashville, Tennessee, to the Cumberland River on October 5, after the team's stunning victory over the University of Alabama.
Vanderbilt defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide 40-35 on Saturday night.
The Commodores' win was a major upset over the number-one ranked Crimson Tide, as the victory was Vanderbilt's first-ever over a top-ranking team, ESPN reported.
