Marcus Mariota served as the primary QB as Daniels sat out with a rib injury suffered Sunday against the Panthers.

For the second day in a row, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (rib injury) did not practice.

Coach Dan Quinn does not meet with media members on Thursdays, so he didn't provide an update on the rookie's status. Quinn is scheduled to speak with media members Friday.

Marcus Mariota took starting quarterback repetitions again at Thursday's practice, followed by backup Jeff Driskel and third-stringer Sam Hartman. If Daniels can't play, Hartman would be the emergency third quarterback Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
