Dodgers contract details for Blake Treinen and Michael Conforto

Now, thanks to Associated Press, we have further details of each contract.

Conforto gets an $8.5 million signing bonus, which is paid $6.5 million on January 15 and $2 million on December 1. His salary for the 2025 season is $8.5 million.

Treinen got a $5 million signing bonus, which pays him $2.5 million on January 6 and $2.5 million on December 1. His salary in 2025 is $6 million, and $11 million in 2026.

Conforto counts $17 million toward the payroll for competitive balance tax purposes, while Treinen is at $11 million per season. With those two signed, the Dodgers' estimated payroll for 2025 is roughly $330 million, well past the highest threshold of competitive balance tax. Every amount above $301 million next season will be taxed at a 110-percent rate.
