Xumo, the streaming platform by Comcast and Charter, has announced a significant expansion through a new partnership with Target. Starting next week, Target stores nationwide and Target.com will feature Hisense Xumo TVs. They will be available in 55" and 65" models for $249.99 and $359.99, respectively, just in time for the holiday season.

With nearly 8,000 retail locations now carrying Xumo TVs, the platform's reach has grown significantly. Stephanie Cassi, Xumo's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, emphasized the benefits: "The growing fragmentation of content on streaming services can make content discovery difficult - the Xumo TV makes streaming easy."

The Hisense Xumo TV offers an intuitive interface and a voice remote for seamless content searches across hundreds of apps. Allowing a more direct way to interact with a host of services including Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video, these televisions allow more users to find the content they want. In terms of viewing, the TVs feature Dolby Vision® HDR and HDR10 technology for vivid color and contrast, with Dolby Atmos® pass-through for immersive sound.

This collaboration between us, Xumo and Target not only expands our reach but also reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional value and an enhanced viewing experience for all consumers."

Xumo's expansion into Target complements its presence in other major retailers like Best Buy, BJs, and Walmart. This has helped the company capture nearly 75% of the U.S. smart TV market.

The platform's user-friendly system addresses common frustrations. A recent Comcast Advertising survey found over 70% of viewers struggle to find content, with 65% spending more than six minutes searching.

Xumo's solution? Personalized watchlists, advanced voice search, and seamless discoverability.

As holiday shoppers look for budget-friendly, high-quality tech, Xumo's latest launch at Target offers a compelling option, making streaming simpler and more enjoyable.
