SPONSORED CONTENT PAID FOR BY DR. THOMAS GIEGERICH AN OPEN LETTER TO MY FELLOW SOUTH JERSEY VOTERS ABOUT OUR US CONGRESSMAN JEFF VAN DREW I am Dr. Thomas Giegerich, Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). I am writing about Dr. Jeff Van Drew, likewise a DMD, who is running for reelection. Our DMD (vs DDS) reflects our higher training in science. Thus, we learned how viruses originate, spread, mutate, transmit, strengthen, and KILL. ENTER COVID: Dr. Anthony Fauci MD spent his entire career as head of Infectious Diseases at our NIH, receiving worldwide acclaim, 7 international awards, and our Presidential Medal of Freedom. Since 2019, he held on, despite savage political attacks, threats of being fired and replacement by a political hack. Yet, despite all his science training, Jeff embarked on a savage attack on Dr. Fauci, while he led the nation to the world's first Covid vaccine (in just ELEVEN months) The World Health Org. was astounded at the speed of development (vs Polio 40 yrs, Aids 10, Sars 5, etc.). Yet Jeff concluded his attack with "Don't let the door hit you on the way out Dr Fauci". Then came Jeff's "pariah"(R) switch, declaring his "undying loyalty" to his "puppet master", Donald Trump (and NOT to our Constitution nor to Jeff's constituency), ENOUGH ALREADY! Having abandoned his science training, now consider his voting record. He has stood against benefits for working families; opposed efforts to make health care more affordable; refused environmental protection measures; dismissed wage raises and income inequality. He voted AGAINST the Insulin $35. Cap. Plus he ignored a long list of unattended South Jersey needs. Critically, after long support for wind energy, Jeff "followed orders" and aggressively denounced the Danish ORSTED project, which guaranteed almost $1 billion dollars. Sadly, they abandoned the project, at the loss of 2,500 local jobs. We deserve a "non-puppet" representative to work for us. Not someone playing political games. Please elect Joe Salerno (D) to work tirelessly for us. I'm not asking you to change parties, but only to consider what kind of leadership we truly deserve. I am voting for Joe Salerno, a leader who will put South Jersey first. Dr. Thomas Giegerich, Margate NJ
