If you have any Christmas presents left to buy ahead of the big day, there's a strong chance that a trip to Bluewater is on the cards in the near future. One of the most popular shopping centres in the south east, the Greenhithe retail haven features around 300 different stores to peruse and nab some gifts.

Being the holiday season, Bluewater will see a revision to its opening times around Christmas and New Year which shoppers will want to be aware of. On Christmas Eve (Tuesday), Bluewater will close earlier than usual, opening between 9am and 5pm.

Then on Christmas Day itself, the centre will be completely closed, as will most retail businesses across the nation. Those looking to bag themselves a deal among the Boxing Day sales will need to work around altered operating hours on this date.

After the full closure on Christmas Day, the centre will re-open at 9am on Boxing Day and then shut slightly earlier than usual at 7pm. The next alterations will be seen on New Year's Eve, when Bluewater will open between 10am and 7pm.

Anyone itching for a spot of retail therapy to kick off 2025 will be able to visit Bluewater between 10am and 7pm on New Year's Day. Throughout the festive season, the shopping centre is running its Winterland experience once again, as well as hosting an ice rink and the new Elf on the Shelf 'interactive adventure' .
