The pizza available at the Bonfire Grill at the new Soda Springs Maverik.
Maverik is celebrating the recent grand opening of its new convenience superstore at 90 East 2nd South in Soda Springs.
Kevin Sorensen, the manager of the new location, said the store has brought a wave of excitement to his employees and the entire community.
The Soda Springs Maverik had been right off Main Street for decades. However, when it was determined that location needed significant repairs, the decision was made to build new and move the store to the east edge of town.
The new Maverik has 10 gas pumps compared to the Main Street location's eight. The new store is also one of Maverik's larger truck stop stores with lots of extras.
Some of the upgrades at the new Maverik are ethanol-free fuel, Diesel Exhaust Fluid and high-flow pumps in the semi-truck fuel bays and substantially more customer parking.
The new location includes a made-to-order Bonfire Grill that's open daily from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. with food options ranging from burritos to full-sized pizzas to salads and more. The menu will be changed from time to time to offer even more options and there will soon be call-ahead ordering from the Maverik app.
The new store has a number of additional beverage options as well as many new freshly made bakery items.
Cindy Erickson of Soda Springs shared the excitement of bringing her grandsons to the new store for a quick treat and beverage.
Erickson said, "We are just excited and appreciative to have such a nice larger store in our little town."
Sorensen has seen how the new store has received a very positive response from community members.
He said the bigger and better new Maverik requires many more employees to operate than the previous store, creating badly needed new jobs for the Soda Springs area.
He invites everyone to check out Soda Springs' new state-of-the-art Maverik. You won't be disappointed.
