We loved our Fall Hike! The weather was perfect and the invigorating scent of pine needles filled the air for eighteen Quad City Plus 60 club members and two accompanying board members Connie Mangler and Jennifer Hillebrand, who participated in a refreshing hike alongside the Black Hawk Hiking Club at Scott County Park.
Over the course of 3½ miles, camaraderie blossomed among the group, as they navigated the picturesque trails together. Laughter and conversation flowed as we embraced the beauty of nature, making the journey both memorable and fulfilling.
After the pleasant hike, our Plus 60 Club members were treated to an assortment of delicious cookies graciously hosted by the Black Hawk Hiking Club.
I truly enjoyed hosting hikes for 2024 and I am looking forward with excitement to resuming a new schedule of hikes again beginning in March 2025.
