Subscriber exclusive: Vote for the MS Coast football Athlete of the Week for October 14

Now is your chance to vote in our Athlete of the Week poll, following a loaded Friday night of district action around the Coast. The full top performers list (our largest of the season) can be found here.

This week's football players are nominated from Bay High, Gautier, George County, Harrison Central, Pearl River Central, Picayune, Stone and West Harrison.

This is not a scientific poll, and you can vote as many times as you'd like until voting ends at noon Friday, Oct. 18, at sunherald.com.

Get to know the nominees here:

Trey Irving, Gautier: Irving threw for 225 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 107 more yards and three more scores in a 47-13 win over Vancleave.

Deuce Knight, George County: Knight threw four touchdown passes and ran for another in his return from injury, leading the Rebels to a 48-13 win over Long Beach.

Tre Hanshaw, Harrison Central: Hanshaw registered 20 tackles and a forced fumble in a 20-16 win over St. Martin.

Titus Feaster, Pearl River Central: Feaster, the youngest son of head coach John Feaster, threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 80 yards and another scored and tallied 14 tackles on defense in a 35-20 win over Forest Hill.

Darrell Smith, Picayune: Smith totaled 249 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the win over Pascagoula. Also had seven tackles and a tackle for loss.

Zander Howard, Stone: Howard completed 11 of 12 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-21 win over Laurel.

Jordan Stapleton, West Harrison: Stapleton rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown and added two catches for 40 yards in the loss to Hancock.
