BRATTLEBORO -- Vermont native metalcore band Saving Vice is set to head out on the five-week "(Un)Wanted Dead or Alive Tour" with Fight From Within from Rochester, N.Y., starting with their kickoff show at The Stone Church on Thursday.
Saving Vice, which released its sophomore album "Good Days, Dead Eyes" earlier in May of this year, will feature a unique headliner setlist featuring mostly new songs off that album in addition to some of its classics. The album, which received great reception on its initial release, was self-produced, mixed and mastered by guitarist Robbie Litchfield, a native to Southern Vermont.
"This is the first time we've toured since spring of 2023 and we are incredibly excited to get back on the road doing what we love and seeing all of our friends and fans again," Litchfield said. "We're going to be playing a lot of songs off 'Good Days, Dead Eyes,' which I made sure were going to translate really well live when I originally wrote and produced them. The Stone Church show in particular is going to be one of the most special shows of our career to date. Growing up in Jamaica, Vermont, it's definitely sentimental for me personally and the closest show I've played to my hometown since our inception, so I'm hoping to see a lot of old friends and family out at this one."
Tyler Small, vocalist, said the whole tour "feels like a chance for us to come back to music with a fresh mentality and sound. This is the best work we've made and we're very excited to play it for everyone."
"Since joining Saving Vice, it has been incredibly rewarding to perform in my bandmates' home state where I first met so many of the people whom I now consider family," said Sam Whelton, drummer. "Myself and the rest of the guys could not be more grateful to kick off tour in beautiful Vermont."
