GRAND RAPIDS, MI - For the last 27 years, Cornerstone University has been the holiday home for Grand Rapids-area high school basketball, and Monday offered another full slate of games involving 12 local teams.

Among the highlights were the Grand Rapids Christian boys team coming back from a two-point halftime deficit to defeat Zeeland East, 58-53, thanks to another strong game from junior guard Carl Thompson, who scored a game-high 19 points.
