Bill would require employers to pay 'living wage'

A bill filed by a Lexington area state representative would create a standard for a "living wage" in Kentucky and would require future businesses to pay employers accordingly.

The bill, House Bill 129, defines "living wage" as a wage equivalent or greater than 130% of the poverty level in the county where a person works.
