"As a result of the surgery and the tumor my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face," she explained in the post. According to Page Six, she waited nearly nine months post-surgery to undergo a filler procedure to smooth out the area. In several Snapchat posts, Khloe documented her process with before and after photos, highlighting the noticeable differences after one cheek filler session. Khloe also explained why she waited so long before moving forward with the cosmetic procedures.

"We had to make sure everything medically everything was safe, and my doctor gave me the go-ahead," she wrote. Additionally, Khloe has previously shared images of her post-surgery face in September 2023, but this update provided a more detailed look at her recovery journey.

The health scare was revealed in 2022 when she announced to fans that she had a skin cancer tumor removed from her cheek. At the time, a fan had questioned her facial bandage on social media and Khloe responded, "A bandage, I had a tumor removed from my face, but I'm totally OK. Thank you for asking." Since then, she has been vocal about the importance of regular skin screenings, urging her followers to get checked for cancerous moles.

This isn't the first time Khloe has faced a skin cancer scare. The outlet also reported that doctors found a malignant mole on her back when she was 19, leading to the removal of 8 inches of skin. The reality star stressed that even those who wear sunscreen can also face the risks of skin cancer.
