The crash occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of County Road 7 and 280th Street.

Nine students were injured when a school bus crashed into a truck in Redwood County Wednesday morning.

According to a statement from Wabasso Public School District Superintendent Jon Fulton, the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 7 and 280th Street.

The students were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Minnesota Star Tribune reports that the bus driver failed to yield before crashing into a Ford F550. The publication identified the bus driver as a 72-year-old Milroy man.

The school district says counseling services are available for students following the incident.
