The coroner's office has identified a 16-year-old killed in a head-on crash in Butler County Thursday.Two vehicles collided around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning on a stretch of West Elkton Road, a 20 minute drive north of Hamilton."Not sure exactly what occurred at this point as far as who would be at fault, but ended up having a head-on collision," Sgt. Steven Poff said.Poff leads the Butler Co. Sheriff's Office's accident reconstruction unit.He said a 2005 Pontiac driven by a 16-year-old boy was heading north on West Elkton Road when the car crossed the center line and ran into a Chevy Suburban driven by a 60-year-old man.Medics pronounced the teenage driver dead at the scene. His 13-year-old sister was with him in the Pontiac. She was flown to Dayton Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.The man in the Suburban also suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to Miami Valley Hospital.On Friday, the coroner identified the 16-year-old as Wyatt Sidney Duckworth.The superintendent of Preble Shawnee Local Schools says the 16 year-old was an 11th-grader in the district. The teen's sister, the 13 year-old passenger, is an 8th grade student in the district. "We are a small community. Everybody knows everybody," Shawnee Preble Local Schools Supt. Todd Bowling said.
