In Loving Memory ~
Beverly was born on May 15, 1939 in Trail BC where she spent her early years growing up in the "Gulch" with her father Harold, mother Frances, and younger brother Ron.
Bev was excited to be a drum majorette for the marching band at high school, and after graduating, she went on to become a very sought-after Administrative Professional, working in Trail, then travelling with her son Steve, to positions in Calgary, Kamloops and other towns in BC.
After meeting her beloved Mel, they settled in Kelowna. Bev later went on to assist and travel the open roads with Mel in their trucking business.
Bev loved to read her many books, delighted in cooking and baking, was an avid collector of many items, and was a dedicated gardener, always growing the most beautiful flowers, along with produce that she would preserve for the winter. She also loved crafting, creating many projects in embroidery, knitting, crocheting, doll houses and miniatures and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society - she loved bright colors and always wore rose-colored glasses!
Bev & Mel's last move was to Grand Forks BC, where they truly enjoyed their beautiful large yard. They made several close friends in Grand Forks and continued to regularly visit Bev's family in Calgary, while sustaining her friendships from her childhood days in Trail.
Thank you to the caregivers at the Boundary Lodge and Sunshine Cottage, Hardy View Lodge, where she most recently resided, as well as to Mel's family who have provided support to her since Mel's passing.
Bev will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery, near Trail, alongside her immediate family.
She will be greatly missed by all.
