BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX)- -- For the first time in 693 days, CSUB's wrestling team earned a home dual meet win against Michigan State, 21-14. Their last home dual win dates back to January 22, 2023 against Central Michigan.

"This is what we live for and you got to take it,. No one gives you anything, no one gave me a national championship, no one gave us this dual meet, we took it, today" Ferrari said. "Everyday you win a day and come in here and take the match and our team will be a top three team, I promise you that."

"We're happy to have him [A.J. Ferrari].," Smith said. "He's been a great leader on the team, he's very discipline. I think he's only going to get better from here."
