You need at least one email address to function in online society, but there's nothing stopping you from creating a few (dozen) more. Aside from a work or school address, using different personal email addresses can help you keep certain areas of your life distinct, help fight against spam, and let you get around storage concerns. Do you use more than one personal email address, and if so, how many do you have? I have one primary address I use for almost everything, with a couple of secondary addresses I only use in specific circumstances.
