Crowley Community Urged To Share Info On Carjacking Incident.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office needs the community's help after several male suspects approached a car near Crowley on Wednesday, December 4, and forced their way into the vehicle.

Sheriff K.P. Gibson says several black male subjects were wearing ski masks, they were armed, and they stole the car. The Sheriff says the car was occupied at the time the carjacking took place.

Gibson says the men forced their way into the vehicle at around 10 o'clock at night in the 100 block of Kathy Meadows Lane near the Crowley area. Officials say the shite 2020 Chevrolet Malibu sedan has not turned up since that time.

If you know anything about this case or any other case, or if you have seen this vehicle, you are asked to contact the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers Tips Line anonymously by calling 337-789-TIPS.

Another option to give information to authorities anonymously is to download and use the P3 app on any mobile device. Gibson says that if your anonymous information leads to an arrest in the case you can earn up to $1,000.
