MOORHEAD -- Hundreds of students and faculty at Minnesota State University Moorhead have satiated sweet tooths after a homecoming event on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
More than a dozen volunteers from MSUM's homecoming court and dining hall dished out some ice cream Wednesday.
They lined up to get a variety of flavors and toppings. The most popular flavor was cookies and cream.
The event was free, thanks to the Dragon Entertainment Group, a student organization on campus.
"It makes me feel pretty good because I'm getting to see more faces than I already know, and it's just a good reminder of the community on campus," AJ Vonbank, with MSUM's homecoming court, said.
Homecoming week for the Dragons started on Monday, Oct. 7.
Events such as "Pie your Professor" and the "Deans' Chili Feed" are a few of the other fun events for the week.
Coronation of the homecoming court and the "Burning of the M," with fireworks, will be Friday, Oct. 11. Their full schedule can be found here .
