Fans of Selena Gomez are abuzz with speculation that the pop star might have foreshadowed her engagement ring she received from producer Benny Blanco in her 2015 hit song, Good For You. While the song was initially interpreted as a sultry ode to love and self-confidence, some are now revisiting the lyrics with new meaning in light of recent rumors

Fans.have latched onto clues from Gomez's music, particularly the line in Good For You that reads: "I'm on my marquise diamonds / I'm a marquise diamond."

A marquise diamond is exactly the type of diamond that Gomez ended up getting from Blanco when he proposed to the songstress. Ironically, at the time the song was release, Gomez was single.

The song served as the lead single from her album, Revival. The project became her most successful release to date, having spawned three top 10 singles with "Good for You," "Same Old Love" and "Hands to Myself."

"Forever begins now," she said in a series of pictures posted to her account. It is unclear as to when Blanco asked Gomez to marry him. However, the couple has been the subject of engagement rumors for months prior to the official announcement.

Blanco and Gomez have been in a relationship since June 2023 and Blanco has produced her songs"Single Soon" that was released in August of that year.
