In the earliest hours of the morning, Wednesday November 9, 2016, I listened to the radio as I drove back from an election party held for Democratic Party volunteers. I shook when results came in, as the deep, belligerent voices of Trump supporters chanted "Call it! Call it! Call it!"

Throughout the night, I cried. I curled up in my bed, wondering who was outside the walls of my apartment.

How many of my neighbors voted for a man who boasted about assaulting women, and encouraged violence and hate against vulnerable populations?

How many juiced up frat boys were roaming around campus celebrating their ideological win?
