Travis Kelce Had 8-Word Reaction To Taylor Swift No-Showing Birthday Event

Travis Kelce was in a good mood despite his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, not attending his birthday charity event in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who has won three Super Bowls, is turning 35 years old. Kelce, who is coming off the best game of his 2024 season - seven catches for 89 yards against the Chargers - held his annual charity event for his birthday in Kansas City on Saturday. The second-annual Kelce Car Jam event, which raises money for kids in the Kansas City and Cleveland areas, was sponsored by Raising Cane's and had some major guests in attendance. But Swift, who has written about her ex-boyfriends not showing up to her birthday parties in songs like "All Too Well," was not in attendance for the tight end's event on Saturday.

Still, Kelce appeared to be in a good headspace.

Kelce spoke to reporters at the event and he was asked about Swift not being there. He had a cool eight-word reaction to his iconic music star girlfriend not being there.

"I know she's coming in for the game," Kelce told Page Six on Saturday afternoon.

The Chiefs, 4-0 on the year, are set to host the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Monday evening. Swift, who is still pushing forward with her Eras Tour, has missed the past two games for the Chiefs. She was not in attendance at last week's win in Los Angeles against the Chargers and she missed the previous week's Sunday night win in Atlanta.

Kelce previously spoke about how he doesn't mind if his friends and family members occasionally miss a game or two. After all, it's a long season and everyone has their own lives to worry about.

"I mean, there's eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don't even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game," Kelce said in 2016.

He added: "If you're dating a professional athlete I do not believe, at least for me, that you need to go to all the games."

There are now even more games on the schedule, too, with 17 regular season games, and the Chiefs have gone deep in the playoffs for most of Kelce's career. Kansas City could end up playing 20-plus games this season, if the Andy Reid-led team reached another Super Bowl.

We should be seeing Swift in attendance on Monday night.

Kickoff between the Chiefs and the Saints is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. E.T. on ESPN. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be on the call for the Worldwide Leader.
