Fans in Mexico will be treated to a performance the country hasn't seen in nearly a decade. Air will be making their return to the country for the first time since 2016 for an upcoming festival set.
Iconic French duo Air have spent 2024 on the road, celebrating their 1988 debut album, Moon Safari. It is the first time the group has performed the classic release front to back and they have been touring the world to reach fans everywhere. Amongst the group's itinerary will be a stop in Mexico to perform at the country's Hipnosis Festival on November 2nd. The event also features The Kills, Slowdrive, Gang of Four, and more.
The performance will mark their first time in Mexico since 2016. With fans having to wait nearly a decade for Air to return, the festival set of Moon Safari will be a welcome performance. The last time the group played, they shared the stage with LCD Soundsystem, the Pet Shop Boys, and The Killers at CDMX's Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Hopefully, for fans, they won't have to wait another 8 years for Air to return, but just in case, they should make their way to Hipnosis Festival to catch the duo.
